Dahlonega Buy & Sell is published by Gold Peach Realty, a licensed real estate brokerage in North Georgia. We earn our living helping people buy and sell homes, and we say so on every page. The featured listings on this site are Gold Peach Realty’s own, labelled as such.
What this guide is for
One job: helping people in Dahlonega and Lumpkin County who have to sell one home and buy another decide the order, cover the gap between the two and line up two closings. The three tools (the strategy matcher, the net proceeds and bridge-gap calculator and the timeline planner) run in your browser on your own numbers.
How we check facts
- Every tax rate, rule, fee, date and number comes from the body that sets it: the Georgia Department of Revenue, Lumpkin County, the IRS, the CFPB, Fannie Mae’s Selling Guide, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the University of North Georgia and the U.S. Census Bureau among them. Each is linked where it appears, with the date we checked it. Where we rely on a secondary source, such as a newspaper report or a class handout about the Georgia REALTORS forms, we say so.
- We do not publish interest rates, commission rates, days-on-market figures, price forecasts or rental estimates. Those change too fast and depend on your home; the tools ask you for them instead.
- Census figures are labelled with their survey years and margins of error.
